About us
As a charity, we rescue, rehabilitate and rehome hundreds of neglected and abandoned animals each year. We need you to ensure that we give as much care and attention to our people as we do to the animals within our care!
Are you self-motivated, hardworking, diligent and skilled in retail ? Are you looking to having a job that will make a difference to hundreds of animals every year? if so, we’ve got a brand-new shop in Broughton Astley looking for Sunday cover.
JD
- Opening and closing of the shop
- Dealing with and managing donations
- Liaising with and supporting volunteers
- Maintaining Health and safety
- Serving customers and process transactions accurately using the point of sale (POS) system
- Maintain a tidy and organised store appearance by restocking shelves and cleaning as needed
- Utilise up-selling techniques to maximise sales opportunities
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, and exchanges
Person specification
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Controlled: in an environment where no day is the same, you will be calm and able to respond in a crisis
- Great communicator
- Ability to engage with the public
- Team player
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required
