Duties
- Lead and assist in organizing creative workshops that include activities such as painting, drawing, crafting, or other artistic mediums
- Support participants in developing their ideas and techniques with positive encouragement and constructive feedback
- Prepare workshop materials and ensure all supplies are available and well-maintained for each session
- Foster an inclusive, energetic atmosphere that motivates participants to experiment and express themselves freely
- Collaborate with team members to plan diverse workshop themes that appeal to various interests and skill levels
- Document workshop activities through photos or notes to showcase participant progress and promote upcoming events
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Passion for the arts with experience in visual arts, crafts, or related creative fields
- Strong communication skills to effectively guide and motivate participants of different ages and backgrounds
- Ability to organize materials efficiently and manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach to fostering a positive learning environment
- Prior experience volunteering or working in educational or community settings is a plus
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures related to art supplies and workshop environments
