Feel Good Suffolk is the county’s healthy lifestyles service, supporting residents to stop smoking, manage a healthy weight, and get more active. We’re looking for a Development Officer to help drive the development of the service and lead our smoking cessation work, supporting one of the county’s biggest public health priorities.
About the role:
This role will have real purpose, helping to reduce health inequalities and create lasting change in communities across Suffolk. As a Development Officer, you will:
- Act as the day-to-day lead for county-wide smoking cessation matters.
- Lead and support a team of advisors delivering targeted community projects.
- Develop and maintain referral pathways with health and community organisations.
- Monitor performance and support quality improvement across the service.
- Build strong partnerships across councils, the NHS, community groups, and local organisations.
- Support and oversee projects funded through Feel Good Suffolk’s grants and contracts.
- Produce reports, case studies, and presentations to showcase the impact of the services.
- Shape new initiatives that strengthen Suffolk’s smoke free future.
- Contribute to the overall development of Feel Good Suffolk.
You don’t need a background in smoking cessation—what matters is your ability to lead, organise, motivate, and deliver projects that make a difference. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
