The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse & Field Operative to join our growing Operations team. While this role includes general warehouse duties such as picking and packing, the primary focus will be:
- Dismantling telecoms equipment and preparing stock for scrap/recovery
- Working on-site at telecoms exchanges and data centres
- Deinstalling redundant network equipment
This is a physically active and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and working both in a warehouse and in the field.
Please note: This role involves regular travel and working away from home, sometimes for multiple days.
Key Responsibilities
Field-Based Work
- Attend telecoms sites (exchanges, data centres, customer locations)
- Safely deinstall and remove telecoms equipment
- Dismantle equipment on-site or back in the warehouse
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with safety procedures and site requirements
- Represent Carritech professionally while on customer sites
Warehouse Duties
- Assist with dismantling, sorting, and processing surplus or end-of-life stock
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately
- Book in deliveries and store stock correctly
- Maintain accurate records using the ERP system
- Support stock checks and inventory management
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home regularly
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Desirable (not essential)
- Experience in telecoms, IT hardware, or equipment dismantling
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience working on customer or industrial sites
- ERP system experience (e.g. Microsoft NAV / Business Central)

- Team player with good communication skills
- Professional when representing the company on-site
- Organised and able to manage time effectively
