Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leisure and Spa Manager to lead our wellness and hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the spa and leisure facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service. Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the spa and leisure facilities, including scheduling staff shifts and ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Take responsibility for all Health and safety of Gym, Pool and Spa areas, ensuring all equipment, facilities and plant room equipment are working in line with guidelines.
- Take the lead on driving Gym memberships, whilst maintaining the existing base.
- Lead and motivate a team of therapists, receptionists, and support staff to achieve excellent guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement programmes that enhance guest experience, including wellness packages, special events, and promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises.
- Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to foster positive relationships and encourage repeat visits.
- Oversee inventory management for spa products, equipment, and supplies to ensure availability at all times.
- Collaborate with other departments such as hospitality and maintenance to ensure seamless operation of all leisure services.
- Monitor financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to optimise operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within a leisure & spa environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.
- Knowledge of health & safety standards relevant to spa and leisure facilities.
- Organised with strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to liaise confidently with guests and staff alike.
- A recognised qualification in hospitality management or related field is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for wellness, relaxation, and providing outstanding customer care is essential.
Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
