Duties
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients to support cooking processes
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Support the cooking team by assembling dishes and ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Help with storing ingredients properly and rotating stock to minimize waste
- Serve food to customers or staff in accordance with hygiene and presentation standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all kitchen activities
- Support catering events or large-scale meal preparations as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or a similar food service environment is preferred
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
