We are seeking an upholsterer able to identify and select furniture for repair and re-upholstery ready for sale, including cutting fabric, fitting foam and padding, sewing materials, and assembling finished products while maintaining quality and safety standards. The postholder will work with volunteers daily, teaching upholstery skills and supporting customers in the shop.
We are a small team, therefore collaborative working and teamwork is critical. The postholder will support the delivery and collection of furniture to households using the Loop van. A driving licence is therefore a desirable quality in this recruitment process.
Every day at the Loop is surrounded by diverse customers and volunteers. The role is varied and rewarding. We continue to be in a transitionary period looking to grow sales online and diversify services offered at the Loop. If you are motivated to work within a community setting and as part of a team of staff and volunteers, please get in touch.
