"The Garden Room" provides ad hoc day care for adults and seniors.
We are looking to recruit Day care/activity personnel.
We require an Enthusiastic and reliable person who is able to work well within a team to deliver quality, individualised support to our clients to enable them to maintain skills, personal interests and enjoy days full of social activities. The ideal candidate will be sociable, energetic and motivating but also have the ability to recognise when quiet, reflective time is needed.
You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with families, social workers and transport providers, cook a midday meal, be a car driver over the age of 25, be computer literate and possess the ability to deal with the daily administration.
Previous care and challenging behaviour experience is desirable and the pay rate will be dependant on experience and qualities.

The role involves personal care. Currently 7-21 hours a week but holiday cover is also available. Hours 9am-4pm.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to adults in the daycare setting.
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Communicate effectively with relatives regarding the clients needs.
- Monitor clients well-being and behavior addressing any concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of senior care practices, including dementia and Alzheimer's care
- Proven ability to provide compassionate care and support to clients.
- Full Clean Driving License
