We are looking for two personable individuals to come and join our wholesale team, working 3 days between Monday to Saturday from 8am. Actual finish time is based on delivery requirements on the day, but on average would be 11.30am finish.
Please note Saturday shifts would be alternated between the two roles.
We are an established greengrocers and wholesale business based in Croxley Green. We pride ourselves on offering fresh quality produce, as well as exceptional customer service in both our shop and throughout our wholesale business.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience driving a medium or large van
- Be literate, with good English language skills as some administration duties are included
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Have good personal presentation and hygiene
- Be able to meet the physical demands of the role as lifting and carrying produce is part of the daily role
- Be willing to work as part of a small team covering ad hoc tasks when needed
- Hold a full UK driving licence, for at least 5 years, with no more than three points, for insurance purposes
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering orders to customers, providing excellent customer service
- Driving responsibly and safely
- Following routes and guidance given
- Helping to load/unload deliveries when required
- When required, picking and preparing produce orders for wholesale customers
- When required, completing orders/paperwork using company online software
