Looking for a job on a Super Yacht or a Chalet in the Alps? This would be the ideal position to train and develop your skills, to get ahead of the other applications and secure your dream job!
As a successful, award winning, expanding company, we are looking to bring on more cleaners/housekeepers to join our team to help cover the busier summer months. The role can start immediately, and run through to end of August, September or October.
This role will suit someone who either has previous housekeeping/cleaning experience or someone who is looking to learn and develop their skills. We will teach you how to make a bed, using hospital corners. We'll teach you how to clean a bathroom to shine the taps and keep the mould away. We'll show you how to prepare the kitchen so that everything is sparkling and ready for the new guests. You'll build pride in your work and feel satisfied by the great reviews you get from guests and the way you leave the flat looking so wonderful. The successful candidates will be willing to learn, willing to work hard, be flexible about their work, and be ready to work as part of a great team.
We work on a rota system, you'll have the opportunity to say how you want to work your hours each week. You can work from 1 day a week to 6 days a week, from 4 hours a day to 8 hours a day... if we have the work, and you are willing we can give it to you. Our busiest days are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday so we do ask for availablity on at least 2 of those days. Depending on the hours that you want to work you'll clean up to 3 apartments a day depending on their size and locations, and you'll do everything in that clean - strip and make beds, dust & hoover, clean bathrooms top to bottom, clean kitchens, including glasses, cutlery, ovens, microwaves and fridges. You'll check for damages, and report anything you've found. You'll make sure the heating control is adjusted and you'll leave the property looking sparkling and ready for a holiday maker to come and relax into their holiday.
Our housekeepers receive their hourly wage from the start of their first clean to the end of their last (so it includes travel time between cleans) we also provide a daily travel allowance, holiday pay, and company pension. You will be paid at National Minimum Wage for your first 3 months, and then your rate will increase. if you come back next year, you'll be straight on the higher rate. We provide training and guidance.
Our aim is to ensure the properties we clean are ready and welcoming for guests to come and stay and feel at home when away from home. We need to make sure when they come to stay with us, everything is as it should be.
If you would like to come and join our team, and get involved in making guests feel welcome and happy in our apartments then please get in touch straight away. We have positions available for immediate start and to suit any variation of hours. We have plenty of work available to those who are willing!
Applicants will need to provide 2 references, their right to work in the UK documentation and a CV.
** Temporary and Permanent contracts available as well as shorter part time hours and longer hours.
