Our Acting Senior Care Assistants play an important role in our residents’ day-to-day lives. You’ll ensure the highest levels of care are maintained, supporting residents with all aspects of daily living, while promoting dignity, independence, and happiness.
We’re looking for an experienced and caring Acting Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at The Old Vicarage Care Home. If you’re passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and want to work in a supportive, friendly environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, person-centred care in line with residents’ care plans
Supervise and support care staff to deliver excellent standards of care
Administer medication safely and accurately
Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report any changes promptly
Maintain accurate care records and uphold confidentiality
Liaise with healthcare professionals and families
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control standards
About You:
Previous experience in a senior care role (care home experience preferred)
NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
Confident in leading a team and administering medication
Compassionate, reliable, and professional
