Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolder/ Gang of Scaffolders to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the safe and efficient completion of construction tasks. Applicants should possess relevant experience in construction-related disciplines and be comfortable working at heights in a physically demanding environment.
There is an opportunity for candidates to work on price work for the erection & dismantle of scaffolding.
Responsibilities
- Erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to technical drawings and safety regulations
- Inspect scaffolding regularly for stability, safety, and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, and masons to ensure scaffolding supports their work effectively
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to assemble scaffolding components
- Assist with fabrication and modification of scaffolding parts as required
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all materials are stored securely
- Follow all health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on site
- Report any defects or hazards immediately to site management
Experience
- Proven experience in scaffolding.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly and maintenance
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret safety instructions accurately
- Previous experience working at heights in a construction environment is essential
- Relevant certifications such as CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) are highly desirable but not mandatory for experienced candidates willing to undertake training

Pay: £15.44-£29.12 per hour
