The Role
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive fleet compliance administrator to take full ownership of our lorry fleet and driver compliance. You will ensure that our transport operations remain fully compliance with all relevant legislation, keeping our drivers safe and O-licence secure.
Key Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to;
- O-Licence Management – ensure full compliance with all Traffic Commissioner and DVSA requirements
- Driver Compliance – oversee tachograph analysis, monitor driving hours, ensure Working Time Directive compliance and manage driver CPC training records
- Vehicle Management and Defect Tracking – Ensure all HGVs and trailers scheduled for timely PMIs, MOTs, servicing and calibrations
- Audits and Risk Management – Conduct regular internal audits on vehicle files and driver logs, implement corrective actions when necessary
- ADR and Dangerous Goods Supervision – oversee the safe transport of hazardous materials, ensuring all loads comply with ADR regulations.
- Driver ADR Certification – track and manage driver ADR records
- Vehicle and Equipment Compliance – ensure all fleet vehicles carry the correct ADR safety equipment and that all mandatory vehicle certificates are up to date
- Fuel Data and Telematics Management – analyse fuel cards, bunkered fuel usage, telematics date to track fleet MPG and pinpoint inefficiencies
- Driver Behaviour Monitoring – Identify trends in excessive idling, harsh braking or speeding
