Overview
In this energetic role, you will lead the installation and supervision on commercial roofs and in solar farms. This is a non-domestic role.
You will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work on every project. Your leadership will inspire a team of installers while maintaining strict safety standards and technical excellence. Duties
- Oversee the installation of solar panel systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, manufacturing guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Lead and supervise a team of installers, providing guidance, training, and motivation throughout each project.
- Coordinate lifting activities on site ( telehandler certificate would be a bonus)
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble mounting structures, DC cabling and connections.
- Apply experience and knowledge to troubleshoot issues with equipment or system components during installation.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance and quality.
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule work phases, manage resources, and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain detailed documentation of installation procedures, safety checks, and progress reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering solar PV projects over 250kW.
- Solar farm experience is an advantage, but not essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and solid experience with measuring and setting out.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising or leading a team of installers or construction workers.
- Willingness to travel across England and Wales.
- The role will eventually progress to Site Manager.

Pay: £36,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
