Job Description:
Skilled, motivated and conscientious Service Engineer/Technician required for a varied and rewarding role within a national machinery dealership.
This is a hands-on and highly engaging position based in our Kendal workshops, working alongside our existing team to carry out servicing, repair, diagnostics, inspection and PDI of both new and used specialised construction, forestry and industrial equipment.
The role will also involve installation of attachments, including tiltrotators, along with occasional light fabrication and repair work where required.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and have experience within the construction plant, forestry or agricultural engineering sectors.
Attention to detail, a methodical approach to diagnostics and the ability to accurately complete service documentation are essential attributes.
The successful candidate should be confident working independently as well as part of a team, maintaining high standards across a varied and technically demanding workload.
