Care Assistant:
Oakwood Care Home are currently looking to recruit Care Assistants that want to make a real difference to our resident’s quality of life in one of our new purpose built homes.
It is the care, understanding and empathy of our care team that make all the difference to our residents’ day-to-day life. We are looking to recruit Care Assistant to join our team and help us enhance the quality of life for our residents’ by giving them a home-from-home environment and creating a second family for our elderly clients.
Shift Patterns:
Weekend work included in your rota (one weekend on and one weekend off)
Day Shifts:
Flexible between the hours of - 7am-8pm
Night Shifts:
19:45-08:00
Who we are looking for:
You are able to show empathy and patience whilst assisting our residents, ensuring all their needs are met. You will understand the importance of documentation and following care plans. You will be able to provide effective care, ensuring dignity, respect and choice is maintained

About our home
We are a newly refurbished/rebuilt care home based in Erdington,
We provide care of the elderly, including Dementia and Palliative Care. We aspire to create an environment conducive to wellbeing with good communication between residents, resident’s families and our team.
Who we are
Established in 1983, we are a quality care provider registered with CQC in Birmingham. We work in partnership with surrounding local authorities and CCG’s to provide good quality care for the elderly.
Our overall purpose of Oakwood is to provide our residents with the highest standard of care, comfort and security. Promoting independence where possible.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
