Responsibilities
- You will ensure kitchen equipment, crockery etc is kept clean and ready for use, and ensure the proper standards at all times.
- Assist with basic food preparation.
- Assisting with checking and storing of all kitchen deliveries.
- Maintain good professional relationships with colleagues, Service Users, their relatives and friends to ensure a high level of morale and good working atmosphere.
- You will be interacting with residents and visitors as required. and undertake any other duties as may be necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant, or kitchen environments is desirable
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- A positive attitude, team player mentality, and willingness to learn new skills
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if required
Pay: £12.71 per hour
