Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide information about treatments and procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling and ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Provide support to patients before, during, and after dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Collaborate with the dental team to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Stay updated on dental practices, technologies, and regulations.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or diploma.
- Good clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on their comfort and wellbeing.
- Able to effectively communicate with patients and manage reception duties.
- Work effectively to support the whole team.
