Monkey Tree Holiday Park is a multi-award winning family run park known for its commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We are seeking responsible, alert, and attentive Outdoor Pool Lifeguards to join the team here at Monkey Tree Holiday Park for the 2026 season.
Situated on the North Coast of Cornwall, Monkey Tree Holiday Park benefits from having some of Cornwall’s finest beaches including Fistral Beach and Perranporth Beach just minutes away – perfect for surfing & great family days out.
This is offered on a Seasonal Contract until September 2026, with the potential to extend based on performance. The hours for this position are offered on a variable hour’s basis which means flexibility is essential.
What you will be doing
- Supervising swimmers
- Spotting hazards and preventing accidents
- Giving advice on water safety
- Provide great customer service on reception desk
- In-water and poolside rescues
- First aid
- Keeping pool and surrounding area clean and tidy
What we are looking for
- MUST have a valid in-date National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) qualification
- Excellent observational skills
- An excellent level of concentration
- The ability to act quickly in an emergency
- Strong communication skills, especially in an emergency
- Be calm, approachable and professional
