Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a 16+ and 18+ Supported Accommodation service. This vital role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care tailored to young adults with diverse needs. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the supported accommodation service, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional resident care
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans that address individual needs, including dementia care and mental health support
- Supervise and support care staff, fostering a motivated team environment through effective leadership, supervision, and training
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including safeguarding protocols, medication administration procedures, and health & safety regulations
- Oversee medication management processes, ensuring safe administration in accordance with best practices and legal requirements
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring service quality, conducting audits, and implementing best practices in assisted living and home care settings
- Build strong relationships with residents’ families, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support networks are in place
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supported living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care and dementia support
- Demonstrable management experience within a care home or supported accommodation setting
- Knowledge of care planning processes, medication administration protocols, and regulatory standards for adult social care
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams and managing staff performance effectively
- Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care principles and managing residents with complex needs such as dementia or mental health conditions
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with residents, families, staff, and external agencies
- Relevant qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma or on the course in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent are highly desirable
- knowledge of Ofsted and CQC Compliance and registration process

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
