We are seeking for a suitable PA to provide flexible support around my needs in LS16 (Leeds)
10 hours per week, (Monday to Friday from 2.30 pm till 4.30pm)
Pay rate (gross) £13.23 per hour at all times
Also driving is a must, as doing this job on the bus is not feasible.
Purpose of the job:
I am a man with visual impairment, and I need support with aspects of daily life such as supporting me to pick my children from school and also spend time with them outside of home during the weekends. I will also need support in case of emergencies such as meal planning and school run.
We may also request to support with school drop off in the morning which is 7.30am till 9.30am this can only be occasionally or in emergencies.
You must be able to develop a rapport with me and be a pleasant companion. It is vitally important that you are trustworthy and that I feel comfortable with you.
To be flexible in attitude and with the working day.
Duties & Tasks
- Support with picking up my 3 children from school and bringing them home
Assist me with making meals during emergency situations when my wife is not available
Assist me with shopping in emergency situations
Support me to take my children out during the weekends.
Any other reasonable request that I may make.
Holiday Entitlement:
You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks each year pro rata. You will be required to give at least two weeks’ notice for any holiday required so that alternative arrangements can be made.
