We are looking for a Female Candidate to join The No.1 Care Agency Team, as a Live-in Carer and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need dedicated, personalised support. This rewarding role involves providing comprehensive care to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being As a Live-in Carer, you will be an essential part of creating a nurturing environment that promotes independence while offering professional assistance tailored to each person's unique needs. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for clients requiring senior care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or hospice support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized patient care by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication administration activities
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
- Manage behavior and provide emotional support for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease to promote calmness and reassurance
- Conduct light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Support clients with mobility through safe transfer techniques and heavy lifting when needed
- Drive clients to appointments or errands safely using your own vehicle or company transportation, ensuring timely arrivals
- Respond promptly to emergencies with first aid skills and coordinate with emergency services if required
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction
- Maintain detailed records of care provided, medication schedules, and any changes in health status
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Proven track record in patient care, caregiving, or senior care roles with a focus on dementia or Alzheimer's support
- Knowledge of hospice care practices and behavior management techniques for vulnerable populations
- Certified in Moving and Handling or Willing to undergo training
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks associated with caregiving responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
