We are seeking a motivated and dependable Pharmacy Driver - Locum to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering pharmaceutical supplies efficiently and safely to patient’s homes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community health.
Days required are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver pharmaceutical products, and medical supplies to designated locations promptly
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Assist with loading and unloading items
- Maintain accurate delivery information for each trip
- Follow procedures for storage, handling, and transportation of medication.
Qualifications
- Desirable - to have delivery driver experience with a strong focus on punctuality and safety
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and patients
- Familiarity with the local area and route planning
- A DBS or willingness to obtain one
