This is a permanent, mobile position with a long-established social housing and public-sector contractor, carrying out planned maintenance, refurbishment and general building works across occupied residential properties in South East London and surrounding areas.
The role would suit an experienced Multi-Trader or Carpenter with a strong carpentry background who is also confident carrying out a range of general building and maintenance works.
The Role:
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
- Doors, frames, skirting and architraves
- Timber repairs and replacements
- Patch plastering and making good
- Painting and decorating
- Basic brickwork, rendering and pointing
- Fencing and external repairs
- Guttering and roofline repairs
- General building and maintenance works
- Completing works safely and to a good standard within occupied properties
What We're Looking For:
- Strong carpentry background
- Previous Multi-Trade or general building experience
- Experience within social housing, domestic maintenance or refurbishment
- Confident carrying out a range of trades alongside carpentry
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Relevant trade qualification desirable
