About the Role
Trent Lock Golf & Country Club is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef who takes pride in producing high-quality food and enjoys working in a busy, professional hospitality environment.
You will play an important role in delivering an excellent dining experience for our members, guests, golfers and event customers, with menus ranging from classic clubhouse favourites to functions and special events.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes consistently and to a high standard.
Work efficiently as part of a professional kitchen team.
Assist with menu preparation, development and daily specials.
Ensure excellent standards of food presentation, quality and portion control.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and kitchen safety.
Follow HACCP and food safety procedures.
Manage stock, minimise waste and assist with ordering when required.
Support the smooth running of the kitchen during busy service periods, functions and events.
Work closely with the Head Chef and wider hospitality team.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has proven experience working as a chef in a busy professional kitchen.
Has a genuine passion for food and hospitality.
Is confident working independently and as part of a team.
Can remain calm and organised under pressure.
Has excellent attention to detail and high standards.
Understands food safety, hygiene and allergen requirements.
Is flexible and reliable, including availability for evenings, weekends and events.
Has a positive, professional attitude and takes pride in their work.
