Duties
- Remove and replace tires using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment with precision and care
- Conduct tire inspections to identify damage, wear, or punctures, ensuring optimal safety standards
- Perform wheel balancing, alignment checks, and other maintenance tasks to enhance vehicle performance
- Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and safety recommendations with professionalism
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely to handle tires and wheels during installation or removal processes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance or tire fitting is highly desirable
- Experience with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tire irons is essential
- Familiarity with power tools used in automotive or tire servicing is advantageous
- Prior experience in vehicle maintenance or a similar role will help you excel in this position
