The Portbyhan Hotel is a family owned hotel in the beautiful seaside town of Looe. The hotel is known for its outstanding quality of food, service and stunning location. We have currently undergone a refurbishment and are very proud of the results. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Food & Beverage team here at our harbour side hotel.
You will be ensuring the safe and efficient running of the restaurant and bar areas, welcoming and serving our guests, taking orders, checking in on our guests and customers, taking payments and responding to queries, working as part of a wider team.
You will look after the cleanliness of the bar and restaurant areas, tidying and maintaining the dining room area after meal services and ensuring all areas are well stocked. Customer service is a required and vital skill together with communication; you will form the continuous link directly between our customers, the kitchen and dining room. Hours are around 30-40hrs per week and we are not seasonal. Less hours can be agreed if suitable.
This involves working a mix of shifts (Breakfast, Lunch & Evening service)
Weekends and public holidays will also be required
