Join Next Best Clothing Ltd as a Live Sales & Packing Assistant on a part-time basis and become part of our growing online and live-selling operation in Northallerton.
The role will initially focus mainly on packing customer orders, preparing stock and helping behind the scenes with our live sales shows. We sell a high volume of clothing, plush toys and other products through online live-selling platforms, so we are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
As you become familiar with the role, there will also be opportunities to become more involved with our live shows. For the right person, this could eventually include appearing on camera and potentially hosting live sales shows themselves.
This is a part-time role with predominantly daytime and flexible hours, although some of our live shows take place in the evenings. There is potential for additional hours and responsibilities as the role develops.
Duties
- Pick, pack and label customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Organise orders and prepare parcels ready for dispatch
- Prepare clothing, plush toys and other stock for upcoming live sales shows
- Help set up and organise products before shows
- Assist behind the scenes during live shows, including organising and replenishing stock
- Carry out quality checks and ensure the correct products are packed for each customer
- Maintain a clean and organised packing, stock and live-selling area
- Assist with general stock and warehouse tasks when required
- Potentially engage with customers and viewers during live sales as experience and confidence develop
- Opportunity to progress into presenting and hosting live sales shows in the future
Skills
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

- Able to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment

- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a small team
- Comfortable with varied duties rather than performing the same task throughout every shift
- An interest in clothing, collectibles, online selling, social media or reselling would be an advantage
- Previous experience in packing, warehouse work, retail, hospitality, sales or online selling would be useful but is not essential
- No previous live-selling experience is required, as training will be provided
- An interest in potentially appearing on camera or hosting live sales in the future would be an advantage

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 per week
