Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Carer to provide exceptional support and care to individuals based in Neasden in their homes or care facilities. This vital role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence while fostering a warm, respectful environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they support. You will play a key part in implementing personalized care plans and maintaining open communication with clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care tailored to each individual’s needs, following established care plans
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support clients with medication management and health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals
- Drive clients safely to appointments, errands, or social activities using company vehicles when required
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, family members, and healthcare teams
- Keep accurate records of care provided, updates on client well-being, and any incidents or concerns
- Use IT tools to document care activities efficiently and update care plans regularly
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable
- Valid driving license and experience driving safely in various conditions
- Knowledge of creating and following detailed care plans to meet individual needs
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Familiarity with IT systems used for documentation and scheduling in healthcare environments
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
