We are seeking a reliable and compassionate weekend cattery assistant to help care for our cats and maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment within our cattery. We are a 5* cattery, licensed for 60 cats. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves cats, takes pride in cleanliness, and is comfortable with hands-on daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Feeding cats according to specific dietary requirements
- Cleaning litter trays and maintaining hygiene standards
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining cat pens
- Monitoring cats for signs of illness, stress, or behavioural changes
- Grooming cats when required
- Providing enrichment, attention, and gentle handling to ensure cats are comfortable
- Dealing with customer enquiries/bookings.
- Checking cats in/out. Great communication skills needed for this.
Must have knowledge of cat behaviour and health care.
Must be reliable, responsible and comfortable with manual handling (cleaning/lifting/bending).
Starting from August. Saturday and Sundays. 9am-12pm and 3pm-5:30pm.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
