Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, extractions, and other treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials to ensure efficiency and safety
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and offering reassurance to reduce anxiety
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards
- Sterilise and organize dental instruments and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Support infection control protocols by following strict sterilization procedures and safety guidelines
- Communicate clearly with patients in English to ensure they understand their treatment plans and post-care instructions
Experience
- Previous experience working as a dental nurse or in a healthcare support role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Implant experience would be preferable
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of IT (Dentally Chart)
- systems used for record keeping and appointment scheduling is advantageous
- A genuine commitment to patient care with compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in all duties
