AD-HOC RETAIL MERCHANDISER
Position available in Glasgow city centre multi award winning independent giftshop. The candidate must have extensive experience in merchandising. Suits somebody who wants work on a Flexible basis. This is a part-time role with variable hours so suits somebody wanting additional income on their current job.

A bit about the role!
As a Merchandising Assistant, you will be building up displays and maintaining the shop to a high standard. We cherry pick products from a variety of local businesses and wholesalers and so the candidate must be exceptionally creative and confident working with displays. You will be expected to be plan and implement gift displays easily and have a natural flair for internal shop moves and for this type of work with minimal guidance under time constraints.
The work is on an adhoc basis, due to the seasonal nature of our business. Support is needed when we need to build window displays and move the shop out of hours.
You will be expected to work out of the store hours so doing shifts between 6pm and 11pm, and potentially some early mornings. This will be upto 10 hours a month, with the potential for more hours closer to Christmas and less in the summer.
The candidate should understand the importance of that special touch required.
