Pastry Chef required in Canary Wharf, paying up to £43K
We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our high-end contract catering team within a prestigious banking environment in Canary Wharf.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pastry professional who enjoys producing refined desserts and hospitality offerings in a professional corporate setting.
What you'll be doing as a Pastry Chef:

Creating and delivering fine dining desserts for restaurant service (up to 50 covers per week)

Producing a range of cakes, pastries, and sweet treats for the on-site coffee bar

Preparing elegant petit fours for hospitality and meeting room service

Contributing to hospitality events with buffets, finger foods, canapés, and dessert displays

Maintaining exceptional presentation standards and attention to detail

Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations

Supporting menu development with seasonal and innovative pastry ideas
What you'll need to succeed as a Pastry Chef:

Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in fine dining, hospitality, luxury hotels, or high-end contract catering

Strong pastry, dessert, and cake production skills

Creative flair with excellent presentation standards

Organised and able to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of food safety and allergen management

A positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
