The Café manager is responsible for the smooth running of the small kitchen and front of house, employing and training staff and doing staff rotas. Some menu planning including a daily special, ordering food, stock and budget control are also an important part of the job.
The Cafe at The Old Flight House is an important part of our antiques and interiors business serving good quality, freshly prepared lunches and afternoon teas. The Cafe is used by our customers and also others who enjoy good food and a lovely atmosphere.
The right candidate must have experience running a kitchen, be able to motivate and inspire staff, be totally dedicated to the job and be able to fit in with our small, happy, friendly team.
We are open every day 10am to 5pm and the manager would need to work five days including usually two out of three weekends.

We are located just outside Weston on the Green OX25 3TJ so own transport is essential.
