Overview
Are you a kind, female caregiver with a warm, bubbly personality who adores music as much as I do? I am a wheelchair user needing full support with daily tasks and personal care. Connection is vital and I need someone I truly trust. It is mandatory that only female applicants apply. I need someone who will highly respect my dignity, especially during toileting and personal care. This is a private arrangement, not an agency. I need someone serious, no times wasters. You must have a suitable vehicle so that I can sit in the front seat, and my wheelchair can fit securley in the boot. Please DM me if you think you are the right person. Duties
- Providing personalised care in accordance with established care plans, including assistance with daily routines, mobility, and personal hygiene
- Safely transporting the individual to appointments, social activities, and other outings using a company or personal vehicle
- Monitoring health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to relevant healthcare professionals or family members
- Maintaining accurate records of care activities and any changes in the individual’s condition
- Assisting with household tasks as required, such as organising medication schedules or light housekeeping
- Communicating effectively with the individual and their family to ensure their needs are met with sensitivity and professionalism
- Ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with road safety regulations
Experience
- Proven experience working within a care environment such as a care home or providing home care services
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; mandatory for this role
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently and adapt to changing needs
- Compassionate attitude with the ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy at all times
