TARKA is a fresh new concept that is revolutionising hostels and creating a whole new category of accommodation in the UK.
TARKA’s USP's are its sleeping capsules, technology and design DNA, and our unique F&B concept. The capsule concept is already well established and successful in Japan and other parts of Asia. TARKA will create an upscale version of a capsule hotel that will appeal to a more diverse range of people than a traditional hostel. TARKA will use technology to create the most streamlined operation possible.
Within the TARKA hotel sits NANAKAI - a rooftop bar and restaurant based on a traditional Japanese izakaya. It will offer drinks and simple dishes which are served during the day and evenings. There will also be a Scandinavian-style coffee shop on the ground floor. The bar, restaurant and coffee shop will be open to the public.
This is an exceptional opportunity for outstanding professionals, conversant with Edinburgh’s local environment, who can deliver high standards of service and the TARKA brand standard; and who understand that creating a unique, memorable service is what sets TARKA apart. We are looking for staff who are flexible, with a can-do attitude, comfortable communicating with guests in both a reception and food & beverage environment.
If you have outstanding credentials in the Edinburgh market, we’d love to hear from you.
