Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clients new branch of a domiciliary and live in healthcare service that is part of a nationwide group . The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in domiciliary care and will work alongside the branch owner. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in patient care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with disabilities. The Registered Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality care services, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a supportive environment for both staff and clients in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall operation of the care service, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements - CQC, company polices and procedures.
- Supervise and support staff carers, promoting a positive team environment.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including various tyes of care, and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Oversee medication administration, patient care procedures, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client records and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Collaborate with external healthcare providers for specialised services.
- Manage recruitment, staff training, resource allocation, and optimise operational efficiency to deliver exceptional care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior care settings such as home care / domiciliary and live in care.
- Demonstrable supervisory or team management experience within healthcare environments.
- Experience in managing medication administration processes safely and effectively.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment, safeguarding, and related healthcare practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to supervise multiple departments simultaneously.
- Compassionate approach towards residents’ needs with a commitment to delivering person-centred care.
- Relevant qualifications in healthcare management ie: Level 5 is needed.

Pay: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
