Description
We are testing an in-house focaccia sandwich bread for a busy independent café. We need someone confident with basic bread dough, weighing, mixing, folding, proofing, baking and recording results. You will work with our mixer and high-speed oven to help us finalise a repeatable focaccia bread process for café sandwiches.
Experience needed
- Bread, pizza dough, bakery or production kitchen experience preferred
- Comfortable handling wet/sticky dough
- Able to follow a recipe accurately
- Clean, organised and food-safety aware
- Must be able to write simple notes on timings, dough feel and bake results
Trial task
You will help produce plain focaccia sandwich bread from raw ingredients up to the point where it is baked, cooled, cut and ready for fillings.
Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
