As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents.
- Building positive relationships and creating meaningful experiences for those in your care.
- Supporting residents with their daily activities and individual needs.
- Maintaining accurate records using our electronic care planning system, Nourish.
- Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team.
- Demonstrating kindness, compassion, and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
- Undertaking additional duties as required to ensure the smooth delivery of care services.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are enthusiastic about providing outstanding care and support.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for others.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Are organised and able to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Encourage and support residents to maintain their interests, hobbies, and social connections.
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

- 8:00am – 8:00pm / 8:00pm – 8:00am

Lostock Lodge offers the highest quality care for residential and dementia clients. Residents enjoy personalised care and a varied range of stimulating social activities takes place each day. Lostock Lodge cares for clients with both Residential and Dementia needs in up to 32 ensuite rooms. Our staff are professionally qualified yet friendly and caring, a combination that ensures the highest standards of care for our residents. We pride ourselves on our friendly, homely atmosphere and we welcome visits from prospective clients. The Lodge is tastefully furnished and the décor is designed to be uplifting and is divided into several themed areas including seaside, countryside and street scenes as well as a bistro area. On a practical level we are of course equipped with all the facilities required to meet the needs of our residents. We have a varied programme of social activities designed both to stimulate and entertain.
