We are recruiting for Production / Packing Team Leaders to join Our Team in Wellingborough
The purpose of the role is to take responsibility, as well as effectively leading and managing a team of Operators on the packing line or Production lines and supporting the Supervisor to ensure shift KPI's are being met.
Previous experience in a Line Leader position in a food-based manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
Salary/Benefits
· £14.55 per hour dependant on experience.
· Pension - enrolled automatically.
Production / Packing Team Leader - The Role/Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a team of line Operators on a packing / production line.
- Ensuring that the team members under your management are working towards company standards.
- Measuring and recording the performance of the line and taking appropriate actions where it's necessary.
- Organising and completing product changeovers as per the standard planned time.
- Completing all quality control documentation accurately, concisely, and clearly.
- Applying continuous improvement techniques for problem solving.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Food Safety Regulations, quality, housekeeping, and safety systems.
Required Skills:
- Confidence when speaking and being able to challenge the team under your management.
- Possessing good leadership, managerial and motivational skills.
- A responsible attitude and being able to remain calm under pressure.
- Being able to use IT equipment efficiently.
- Possessing a strong sense of honesty as well as integrity.

- Prior experience in food manufacturing and supervisory roles.
- Strong physical fitness, given the manual nature of some tasks.
