Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, processing customer orders, loading and unloading pallets from artic vehicles and ensuring efficient logistics processes. This role requires a strong understanding of stock management and warehouse organisation and a significant amount of forklift driving experience.
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory management.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluations.
- Communicate with Management at our other site (Walmer) with regard to stock levels, orders, and general processes
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including forklift operation and other equipment handling.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise supply chain activities.
- Oversee shipping & receiving activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Pay: £31,000.00 per year
