Are you a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next long-term role?
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barnet that is looking to appoint a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
- Work on a 1:1 basis and with small groups to help pupils access the curriculum.
- Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language needs and other additional learning needs.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Deliver targeted interventions and implement personalised learning strategies.
- Use positive behaviour management techniques to encourage confidence, independence and engagement.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
- Is patient, empathetic and passionate about inclusive education.
- Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is proactive, reliable and adaptable.
- Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one).
- Has the right to work in the UK.
