We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team initially within our Under 3' building. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
We have positions at each of your nurseries;
Cranley Buckstone EH10 6NZ and Cranley Lanark Eh13 0NJ
```Duties```
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences for children
- Provide personal care to meet the individual needs of each child
- Promote positive behaviour and social skills through effective communication and role modelling
- Monitor and assess children's development, documenting their progress
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure the well-being of each child
- Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
```Requirements```
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (is preferrable)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for working with children
