Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support across the claims lifecycle
- Accurately log and update claims data in relevant systems
- Manage documentation, correspondence, and claim files
- Support claims handlers with task tracking and diary management
- Liaise with customers, brokers, and suppliers for information gathering
- Process invoices, payments, and routine claim transactions
- Monitor inboxes and allocate queries to appropriate handlers
- Ensure compliance with procedures, SLAs, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and escalate issues or exceptions as required
- Maintain organised and auditable records across all claims activity
Knowledge Required
- Basic awareness of insurance and what a claim is
- Understanding of simple claims processes and tasks
- Familiarity with internal procedures and guidelines
- Basic awareness of customer service expectations
- Understanding of data protection and handling sensitive information
- Basic knowledge of systems (e.g. claims system, Excel, email)
- Awareness of team SLAs and service standards
