Fix Auto Portsmouth is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Collection & Delivery Driver to join our busy accident repair centre team. You will be a key point of contact for customers at the point of vehicle collection and delivery, so a professional, confident, and friendly manner is essential.
What you'll be doing:
· Collecting and delivering customer and courtesy vehicles
· Completing collection and delivery paperwork accurately, including collection of any excess payments
· Carrying out courtesy vehicle checks (lights, fluid levels, general condition)
· Recording vehicle condition on arrival, including video walkarounds of damaged vehicles
· Checking vehicles in and handing over to Reception
· Assisting with vehicle washing and general operative duties as required
· Reporting any issues or problems to the Workshop Manager
What we're looking for:
· A valid, clean driving licence
· A confident and professional approach when dealing with customers
· Good attention to detail, particularly when completing paperwork
· Ability to work as part of a team in a busy workshop environment
Desirable:
· Experience in the motor industry
· Experience operating a small recovery truck or recovering damaged vehicles
What we offer:
· £13-£14 per hour, depending on experience
