Composite Trimmer Fitter
Locality: Sawtry Cambridgeshire
The Company:
MPA specialises in the manufacture of precision carbon fibre reinforced components/assemblies & tooling, primarily for motorsport, automotive, aerospace and communications sectors.
We are in search of a Trimmer Fitter to join our composite fitting team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with composite materials whilst following recognised safety practices
- Good hand skills and eye detail
- Solid understanding of patterns, moulds, composite materials and bonding processes would be advantageous
- Be able to inspect their own work, and follow detailed engineering drawings
- Have an understanding of the aerospace, motorsport and defence industry is highly preferred
Basic Requirements:
- Ability to work in a pressured environment but able to remain calm, measured and resilient
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Able to work with minimal supervision with good verbal communication and listening skills.
- Have a good eye for detail, pride in own workmanship and comfortable working with the common hand and power/pneumatic tools.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
