Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, with experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Provide small group or 1:1 teaching support tailored to individual student needs.
- Support tutors to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust support methods accordingly.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes learning and curiosity.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding student performance and areas for improvement.
- Support students with special educational needs by adapting suppor strategies to meet diverse learning requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in education, preferably with children of various age groups.
- Strong understanding of special education principles and practices is desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports the academic and emotional well-being of students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed in their educational journey.

Pay: £15.45-£42.80 per hour
