Allports Chauffeur Services provides professional executive and private chauffeur services. We pride ourselves on reliability, discretion, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a professional and reliable self employed chauffeur to provide exceptional driving services for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a valid NFDC driver’s licence and have experience in long distant driving, ensuring safe, punctual, and courteous transportation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their driving skills and enjoy delivering a high standard of customer service. The position is driving luxury vehicles, maintaining them in good condition, and ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers. This is a SELF EMPLOYED POSITION and the successful candidate would need to be within a 7 mile radius of Lymington .
Duties
- Provide punctual pick-up and drop-off services for clients at designated locations
- Safely operate company vehicles, in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
- Flexible hours are required as role includes evenings and weekends
- Loading and unloading luggage or heavy items as required
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide a friendly but professional service
- Plan routes efficiently to optimise travel time while ensuring absolute safety
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance needs or safety issues
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations during driving duties
- Maintaining your own accounting for HMRC purposes
Experience
- Experience in private hire, executive driving, or chauffeur work is preferred but not essential as licence can be applied for with NFDC.
- Clean driving licence, with no previous accidents .
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with luggage
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are met
- This role requires a dedicated individual committed to delivering excellent service through safe driving practices, effective communication, and proper vehicle upkeep.
