We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents, contribute to a lively dining atmosphere, and develop your career within a reputable establishment. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications accurately to deliver authentic British cuisine.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated section to uphold hygiene standards.
- Support the team during busy service times, ensuring timely meal delivery.
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and excellent guest service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene standards.
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in meal preparation and serving.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards colleagues.
