Potters is a Berkshire based multi-million-pound turnover engineering company established in 1964. We provide fine-limit sheet metal fabrications to a variety of industry sectors including electronics, medical, telecommunications, retail and vending. Our strong reputation with our existing client base has been built around offering design support, quality products and high levels of customer service.
We are currently looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel components
- Working to fine-limit tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications
- Inspecting finished work for quality and accuracy
- Adhering to industry safety standards and company procedures
- Collaborating with team members while also working independently
Requirements:
- Experience and proficiency in fine-limit welding with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel (0.7mm–4mm)
- Strong understanding of welding processes and safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Working hours:
- Working hours: Mon-Thu 07:30-16:00, Fridays 07:30-13:00 (regular overtime available)
Pay :
- Based on experience and subject to a successful on-site welding test.
